Z: What's the deal with ginger? He's goin' through legal shit right now regarding the biting of his style..workin' on some new shit, grindin', snortin' a lotta fuckin' coke and talkin' too much shit. The game done got him sour right now. But he's rappin' on my new music and tryin' to stay out of jail and fights, so he's cool..

MC: my man Casey Counts says you are the illest in the world. is that true?

Z: Im' incurable, it's fucked up. Maaan I don't know what he's tellin' you..rap wise or just or just my lifestyle as a whole. i think my rhymes are pretty ill compared to a lot of rappers old and new.. Just on the tip that I don't hear them sayin' what I'm saying, or how I say it. my style is one thang, but the shit I touch on and tell, talk about catches the listener. Not that no ones sayin' ill shit, but I'm not trying to say ill shit, thats just how I spit it.

MC: yea man, I agree, when I listen to your shit sometimes Im like "DAMN! he said that?"

like that song Biggets that shit is perfect, you really have a knack for tellin it like it is. Also on that same album (dope or dog food) the song God Was Watchin is so well put, I mean the angle you came at that concept with was so original. "privacy shouldnt exist in the english vocab when god can see what I write in my note pad..."

MC: what's up with Sacred Hoop?

new shit old shit. Pushin' the newest hoop album,goin' hog wild. Vrse is mixing and working like a doctor to finish the new master pieces. Luke is rhymin' his ass his ass off, me and him finished a project called motel crew thats goin' to intoxicate the listeners or just piss e'm off. all in all these fools are poor like me.

MC: how do you like playin in AZ? you like the AZ crowds? what about AZ promoters compared to the bay....

Z: I love it when I get the chance to perform there, it's

family all the way. i gotta lotta rellies there so it's grandtastic when

i come. the crowds are swell, and there are gettin' bigger. The promoters down there are excited and want to give their all. They have been pretty honest about what they can do so far. Now back in the bay, home, my back yard boogie, you still gotta do too much for them at times on some bullshit. we throw our own shit to get it started, it's who you know, and if they love a nigga, they gone pull strings and hook it up.

MC: what's the future for ONE BLOCK RADIUS?

The future is, if we get it together, get this music to the right ass hole who could bark and make noise as loud as we do somebody honest, to push it on the level we're aimin' at, we should do swell. we gotta new album I'm really excited about and it will make noise.....we'll be snortin' gold dust andeattin' lobster sandwitchs.

MC: HA! Tell us about Gurp City..

Z: gurp city is a collective of friends and family who get together and get fucked up!!!! we get together and write songs, make mix tapes, cut records and make beats. gurp city is everywhere tho'. it isn't just us in frisco, chico and AZ. mutha fuckaz in the east, south and mid west are gurppin'. And out of the country as well. but the gurp city you want to know about is on the grind musically. You and a lot of your rellies are going to see the logo lot more and feel more a part of something, it's comin'!!!

MC: I know you draw and paint, you been workin on any art lately?

Z: Yes I have been working on lots of art. i'm finishing my covers and new posters, plus pieces for shows. i gotta go all out this time. I love what I'm doin' with it and I want more people to see that, niggas can draw too.

MC: Being vegetarian do you think it's a good idea to start urban gardens?

ever heard of container gardening? it's organic gardening you can do in your apartment, grow veggies right in your crib!

Z: Yeah I do, I really do. I think i read something about urban gardens and container gardening in high times. Ya know they got adds in there for that knowin' god damn well it's for weed!
